Scapa Flow was born in 1914, and she is considered a Blue Hen among thoroughbreds. Two of her children, Fairway and Pharos appear in Violet's pedigree multiple times. Pharos appears in her Red God, Runaway Bride, Nasrullah, Best Offer, Jaipur, and Turn Ahead lines. Fairway appears in her Call the Witness and Third Martini lines! Here's a photo of my beautiful little Violet after she had just turned 3 -- she's a bit dusty and someone bit her butt, but you can see that she's just lovely!
