Over the past few weeks, even with the turmoil of not having a steady set of wheels to get to the barn, Violet and I have made breakthroughs in our riding. Stacey showed me how to ride with my thumbs up and my hands wide to help steady Violet's head and help her get more flexible. And it's working! We're having fun in our riding lessons and I can just tell that Violet is working hard to bring her best to each ride. I am writing this entry in late February and I am hoping very much that I get my car tomorrow and impose a little teeny tiny bit of normality on my life again. I would like to go out to the barn whenever I want and not have it be a project of balancing rental cars, walks to the dealer, and time from work. Namaste!
