I am in my second week in Mars, Pennsylvania, waiting for the birth of my first nephew. I am glad to be here, but am forgoing sabbatical time and miss my dog, horses, yearling, and cats very much. I am feeling out of sorts and look forward to kissing my nephew and then sitting quietly doing research and writing and visiting horses and walking Zelia and communing with Jackass and the cats.

Sabbatical Musings, Start of Second "Lost" Week
