Here are a photo and video of Violet with Emily, taken on January 3rd. I'm writing this entry on January 29th after a really lovely morning with my girl. I went to the barn and just studiously and quietly got her ready for some Pessoa lunging. And she was so professional and quiet. She didn't look at the gates and she listened to my voice commands to either walk, trot, canter, and upward or downward transition. She was a gentle little superstar. I really think she likes doing a good job at lunging and Pessoa. And I really think it helps me take a good look at her and assess her softness. This year I want to improve my riding, and really improve my trust and softness with this beautiful obliging thoroughbred mare!
