Better Talk Now is a 9 year-old gelding who is still racing and giving his best! Last year, at the age of 8, he won the Manhattan Handicap which is a Grade 1 Turf race, and at age 7, he came in second in the Breeders Cup Turf race. He was born February 25, 1999, and has a career record so far of 41: 14-6-3 with over $4 million in earnings.
He's a good boy with a big heart. He likes to settle down behind the pack and keep a quiet pace and then come from behind in a furious burst to catch up and pass! His owners and trainers think that he's a hoot! They even made his own Myspace page where they write about his views in the first person!
Just this past week, he flew to Dubai where he will run in the Dubai World Cup undercard race on March 29th! I hope he has lots of wonderful racing memories when he finally earns his retirement and years of green pastures and fun!
