Today, Day 4 of Renny's life, was very good. They both walked forward into the ring. And Hailee has learned that she needs to take care of herself and let us help her. She rolled 4 times! Stephanie had watered the ring, so the dirt was nice and muddy and cool. I had cleaned Hailee's afterbirth on her rear and legs, and cleaned the stall walls too. And by the time she got into the ring, she was ready to have a delightful roll with her beautiful baby by her side watching. I was so proud of her.And she let me pick out her four feet this evening and groom her foal and take care of her. She's a good mom and beautiful mare! And, well, he's just a slice of heaven!
