These photos were taken on August 8th, the video on the 14th. I am writing this note on a truly lightning night! I can hear the thunder, our first storm and rain in such a very long time, as you can see by the brown patches in the photos where Ruthie and Renny stand. You can't imagine how grateful I have been for this summer. My little guy has had a great chance to enjoy his foalhood. He's had a dear friend. He's learned from an experienced mom and from his new, but very smart own mom. He's visited with his Aunt Violet and the other horses of the farm. He's been cared for by Derek and the Lees. He's been praised by the Valentines. And he's dodged and danced away from short and tall dogs! And he's gotten more and more handsome by the minute!
