Watching Violet work with Emily on New Year's Day was amazing. Violet looked like the athletic talented gorgeous granddaughter of champions. She looked fit, relaxed, happy and capable. And she looked like she wanted to please Emily, but also be appreciated for her fabulousness. I was so impressed by her. She was wonderful. The next time that Emily rode her, a few days later, was even more impressive. Violet attained a new level of soft and supple and obedient. And she didn't fight about the gate. I just felt enthusiastic about our progress and happy about the journey ahead!
