Democratic presidential candidate, Barack Obama, visited New Orleans today. He gave a speech at Tulane University's Fogelman Arena, visited Washington Carver Elementary School, dined at Leah Chase's Dooky Chase with Norman Francis, president of Xavier University.
He said that Mr. Bush's flyover New Orleans after the storm was a "metaphor for his entire presidency" and said that he would do what he could to help the Army Corps of Engineers to get the levees ready for a 5 category storm, another 100 year storm by the year 2011.
President Bill Clinton will visit New Orleans tomorrow to campaign for Hillary before the Republican and Democratic primaries on Saturday.
