Mardi Gras King Cake 2008!


Here is the King Cake I made for this year's Mardi Gras festivities. I can say that it was my best one yet! Now that I make my own cheese, I have a kitchen thermometer, so I'm able to get the temperature of the milk and yeast waters just right! The sweet dough wanted to rise like a creature from the Black Lagoon! Happy warm bread dough! Namaste!
