Here is an early morning photo on December 19th of my beautiful garden, resting. I am writing this entry on January 3rd and I am worried. And I am half-watching a show about Louisa May Alcott and the troubles she had in her life and about her decision to struggle and continue. She considered suicide at one point, but thought it would be cowardly to kill herself before the battle was fought. She decided to face her troubles. Another interesting thing about her is that she chose to be a "spinster." She said that she would prefer to be a spinster and paddle her own boat. I have to agree, obviously.
