So, I'm writing this entry on Monday, July 2nd, and two weeks ago, I went to the barn for an evening ride on Violet and saw Kelsey. She was casually finishing up riding and I was getting ready. And she just mentioned that Renny had jumped his first oxer that day! I was so excited. She said that he was great, just great. That the first time he jumped, he gave it sort of a look and he wanted to jump long. But then he just knew exactly how to handle it. My pony is great! I can't wait to see him jump an oxer in person. Here you see a little photo and video from a lesson on June 26th. Look at relaxed and round and beautiful he is! He has such good time with his trainer!
