Here's a photo of my baby girl last October, taking a morning nap with her boyfriend, Ed. This weekend, Barbie managed a vet visit for Hailee to take stock of her fertility cycle for another attempt with Blue Who. Barbie and Tom have been working hard with her with the teaser stallion and monitoring her progress. Turns out the vet says that she has fast cycles and small follicles. She is still breedable, but it'll be more difficult than with an older, experienced, routine mare. Barbie, Tom and the vet are going to try a special technique later this week. I hope it works for her -- she would be a good mom and make a good foal! I'll keep you posted! Wish her bon chance!
