I really enjoyed my morning walk that first day. I walked along the river, and I was sort of excited because I was reading a book called Queen of the River about a woman who travelled the Mississippi River in a little boat in 2005 after her father died and during Katrina. In the book, she quotes a saying which says that the river is in us. I am always glad to be in River Towns!
