On my first morning at this year's fair, I strolled around the various animal barns and was lucky enough to witness the poultry weigh-in! It was a hoot to see all those chickens being held lovingly and then the moment of excitement as the chicken was released on the scale!! I hope someday to have egg-laying chickens at my own farm!
