I'm writing this entry on Monday, July 2nd. Violet's been working really hard. She's working hard to take on the principles of the deep classical dressage stretch. She's been jumping sweetly. She's been darling on the ground. She's a joy to be around. So, I decided to give her a full week's vacation, since I'm going home to visit my dad for the July 4th holiday. And she just cracks me up. I go visit her in her pasture and she's radiantly beautiful and athletic. But she'll come right up to me and nuzzle and chat and good around and just want to hang out with me. I'm the luckiest person.
