In these photos, I've just stepped into the doors of the main stable with more than 20 stalls. It is set up so that the stalls are in the center, with a few at either end against the wall, and with a very luxurious large aisleway wrapped all the way around. The history books claim that this plan was to allow training even during inclement weather. I imagine that could work, though it sure seems a bit strange to my modern sensibilities. Anyway, here is a photo of Dolly who greeted me when I first arrived. She was so unbelievably hairy! I asked whether she had Cushing's and was told that she just gets a good solid furry winter coat! Lucky girl! She hasn't a prayer of getting cold!
