Yesterday, several friends and I went to the Clazel Theater to enjoy the inauguration day festivities. We enjoyed the music, the poem, the welcoming comments, and, of course, the swearing in of our new Vice President and President. Mrs. Obama wore a lovely lemongrass dress by Isabel Toledo and then later at the inaugural balls, she wore an ivory dress by Jason Wu, a 26 year-old designer from Taiwan who works out of New York! Mr. Obama's inaugural address was wonderful and he even referenced the importance of science and universities! I toasted the event with a glass of champagne and then spent the afternoon napping, I was so tired!
