Well, yesterday I went out to the stable and spent time relaxing with my Hailee. She was enjoying the spring sunshine and taking naps, rolls, and strolls. She and I had quiet time and she let me stroke her beautiful face and talk sweetly to her. Poor tired girl! Then, in the evening, Dr. Zimmerman called and said that the blood I noticed in her teats' discharge was just the absolutely perfect blood of all those capillaries getting laid down and making a rich environment for the production of milk. So, with that last perfect detail in place, we are now just happy and right as rain, waiting for Nitro. And looks like Nitro is just taking her time, waiting for a beautiful, clear spring day for her arrival. Go Nitro! And Little Mama!
